About
Turning myself into a cyborg, one system at a time. My memory. Any mind. Closed loops.
Hi, I'm Avarile. [YOU: one or two sentences on who you are: what you do for a living, where you're based, and what you were doing before this.]
I build Cybernetics, and I write the Cyborg Migration blog about using it to run my own life.
Why I'm building this
I once spent an evening fixing a problem on one of my servers. A year later the same problem came back, and I had no idea what I'd done. I'd solved it, I'd learned it, and it was just gone.
That's when I realised I didn't have a memory problem. I had a system problem. My notes were in five apps, my goals went quiet every March, and every AI conversation started from zero, because none of them could see any of it.
AI makes output cheap. What can't be copied is your own record: what you decided, what you figured out, what you learned the hard way. So I started building one place to keep it, which I own and any AI can read.
What I believe
- Data first, AI second. Computing power without data is a dispenser of hallucinations. An AI is only as useful as what it can read.
- AI agnostic. My memory doesn't live inside any AI company's app. I can swap the model tomorrow and keep everything.
- Closed loops. Who did what, when, with which knowledge, and how it turned out all gets recorded, so every week builds on the last instead of repeating it.
What I've built
Four apps, all running on a server I operate, each of which an AI can connect to:
- Data Base: what I know. How-tos, references, notes and finances as linked records.
- Project Management: what I do. Goals, projects and tasks, which I assign to people or to agents.
- CRM: who I work with. People, companies, deals and follow-ups.
- Agentic Platform: where custom agents use all three, on whichever model fits the job.
I use them every day. That's the point of the build log: you see what works, what breaks and what I change.
